K.I.T.E was allowed to educate young middle and high school students at Saint Peter’s Prep’s MakeSPP. MakeSPP held its 6th annual hackathon on April 13, 2024, where students attended multiple coding workshops to code a program responding to one of four different prompts. Our very own organization was given the chance to host a workshop to teach students about Machine Learning. Shashwath Inamdar, the CEO of K.I.T.E, led the workshop in collaboration with MakeSPP and taught a class about neural networking. Shashwath’s lesson taught the class how neural networks function and how to successfully code a program utilizing these skills. The workshop had a vibrant and engaging atmosphere towards the lesson and sparked new interest and passion for attendees. Thank you MakeSPP for giving K.I.T.E the opportunity to host a workshop and collaborate to educate many middle and high school students on Machine Learning!
